Ingredients:
  • 6 large stalks of fresh lemongrass
  • 6 tablespoon of sugar
  • 8 cups of water
  • Pandan leaves for added flavor (optional)

Procedures:
  1. Wash the lemongrass.
  2. Slice the lemongrass into quarter length and pound white part.
  3. In a pot, boil the water together with the lemongrass.
  4. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Turn off fire and steep for 15 minutes
  6. Strain.
  7. Heat sugar and 3 tablespoon of water until sugar is dissolve.
  8. Add pandan leaves if you prefer. Let it completely cool.
  9. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour lemongrass juice.
