Tomato Treatment for Acne

Tomatoes can help you eliminate your acne and scars. It's abundant in essential vitamins, including vitamin A, C, E, K, and B6, which are highly beneficial for the skin. Tomatoes also have the ability to shrink the skin pores and make the skin more vibrant. They are excellent when it comes to restoring the skin’s pH balance and preventing further acne breakouts.


How to Treat Your Acne with Tomatoes

To use tomatoes for acne treatment, cut a tomato in halves and rub a half over the acne for about one minute, making sure that the skin actually absorbs the tomato juice. Then, rinse your face with a clean water, and that's it. This method is great for small breakouts and you don’t spend a lot of time doing it.

  • Facial Mask with Tomatoes
Take a tomato and slice an X on the top of it. Then, place the tomato in a bowl full of warm water and leave it there for a minute so that it absorbs some water. Next, you need to peel the skin of the tomato, beginning with the incisions. Remove the seeds and smash the tomato to get a paste. Then, apply the paste on your face and leave it for around an hour before washing it off.

In addition, you can add some mashed cucumbers or some yogurt in the mixture to reduce painful acne.

  • Face Wash with Tomato Juice
Take a tablespoon of tomato juice and mix it with a few drops of lemon juice. Then, apply the mixture to the affected area on your skin and leave it for about 5 minutes. In the end, rinse your face with lukewarm water.
